PET/CT (Ga-68) is an advanced nuclear medicine imaging technique specifically designed to detect certain types of tumors, particularly neuroendocrine tumors and prostate cancer. In this method, a Ga-68 labeled radiopharmaceutical is administered to the patient, which binds to specific receptors on tumor cells. This allows for highly sensitive and accurate detection of cancerous lesions, even at early stages.
This method is used for:
• Detecting and staging neuroendocrine tumors
• Prostate cancer imaging (Ga-68 PSMA)
• Assessing treatment response
• Detecting cancer recurrence
PET/CT (Ga-68) provides whole-body imaging with high sensitivity, enabling early and precise diagnosis. Results can usually be obtained the next day.
Special English reports are prepared for international patients, and the process is managed with language support.
